Human League proves it's making a flesh start
Friday night's show was remarkably warm and colorful. It chugged along on a well-worn course all right, but its leading man, heavy- lidded singer Phil Oakey, seems determined now to convince fans - as he croons in "Human" - that he's a flesh-and-blood kinda guy and not a fabricated matinee idol fronting a bloodless dance machine.
