THE SONGWRITING The songs are gonna be a little bit less complex…less sort of verse/chorus/link/chorus/mid eight stuff, a little be more linear... we're trying to make it catchy. www.retrorewind.com 11th September 2008
I have written a load of stuff with Rob (Barton), our new drummer.
I’ve got six or seven songs with lyrics and vocal lines. This Is Lancashire 1st August 2008
We've got the first five things that actually got vocals on together… We haven't written all the words yet... We've only written one verse that get's repeated. Stuck In The '80s Sirius Radio 22nd June 2008 |

I’ve been killing myself trying to do some new stuff. I’m in every day dragging out the oldest gear, trying to make it work. The Big Issue Of North 26th November 2007

THE SOUND A little bit of disco, a little bit of electro, but keeping it very up to date. The beats are going to be heavier than they used to be. www.retrorewind.com 11th September 2008
I love glam and I love disco and I love early electro and together with some sixties vocalising I wanted to go in those directions and there's some odd little things like The Association, Blood Sweat and Tears, and to have some of that sort of stuff on top of it as well. But it has to be up to date too… I'm very confident about where the music is going. www.remembertheeighties.com 20th August 2008
It sounds a little bit like a wobbly elephant falling down stairs… It's very much an alternative to your average standard band format. The Big Issue Of North 26th November 2007
The great glam electro
album has yet to be made, halfway between Glitterbeat and Cabaret Voltaire. |
